  • Unveiling the Unseen: The Armour of God - the Belt of Truth (Series 2/8)

Welcome back, dearly beloved. In this discussion, we will start exploring The Belt of Truth mentioned as part of The Armour of God. We all know that armour protects the one that wears it, but The Armour of God is far more significant and far greater than most of us realise. As we continue on this journey into understanding, let's take a deeper look at The Belt of Truth and perhaps even gain a view of why, in many translations, the very first thing that Paul mentions is "The belt of Truth." So, hold on tight, because we are about to break the hold that a lack of understanding can have on us as believers and disciples of Yeshua. Ephesians 6:13-20 (LEB): 13  Because of this, take up the full armour of God, in order that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand. 14   Stand therefore, girding your waist with truth, and putting on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and binding shoes under your feet with the preparation of the good news of peace (Eph 3:17-18: Be Rooted in Love, Love must be your foundation), 16  in everything taking up the shield of faith, with which you are able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one, 17  and receive the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, 18  with all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the Spirit........ The Significance of The Armour of God & The Belt of Truth Considering what we mentioned in the first part of the series about keeping all the historical references in mind, and the reference used that would be the armour of the Roman Legionnaires, Battle Heroes, Kings, and Gladiators. The Belt of Truth is the first item we "have to have" because in the Biblical era, the belt was the item that would keep all the armour on the wearer's body, it kept it in place and secured the armour, and it even carried funds, additional tools, and weapons. Without the belt (Truth), the rest of the armour is not secure because it would fall off during any movement, it also wouldn't be usable as there would be no place to carry all the items needed. Once we have the Truth (our belt), we are ready to put on the rest of the armour and secure it in place, this being the Breastplate of Righteousness, Shoes of Peace, and the Shield of Faith, that all have a very powerful and significant meaning. Then there is the Helmet of Salvation & The Sword of the Spirit, that is the Word of God. Later in the series, we will draw a conclusion of revelation into a secret that is contained in the grouping and structure of the scripture which you don't want to miss. For now, back to The Belt of Truth. Receiving the Truth, Receiving Salvation, Receiving the Holy Spirit Having your waist Girdled in the Truth, or putting on the Belt of Truth has many deep meanings because it also refers to walking in truth, truthfulness/honesty and when we study this the depths become extraordinary, but we will focus for now on a key component of the most amazing Truth we need to use as our belt to hold all our Armour together. Once we have the Truth, and accept it, God will walk us through the rest and help us get fully clothed in the Armour and even walk us through strengthening of our Armour as we build our relationship with our King of Kings. We all want the Truth, it's a great desire/want that we have as humans. What is this specific Truth? How do you obtain it? The answer is simple, It is given to you, you uncover it by seeking it, or it's shared with you? The Bible teaches us to "Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things shall be added onto you". This applies to so many facets of life because it speaks to our needs, wants, and desires, but it most certainly applies to seeking knowledge, wisdom, understanding and "Truth". How do we seek God's Kingdom and Him, by refering to the Guide given to us, the Bible. So think about this and then always remember it: Jesus said: "I am the Truth , the Way & the Life " ( John 14:06 ) . Which is kind of "cool", because not only does Ephesians 6 mention that we need the Belt of Truth, but in John 14 it is recorded as Jesus saying He is the Truth . Linking this to other scriptures is key to interpreting what this all means, because scripture must always interpret scripture. What is interesting is that as early as the first book and second chapter of the Bible, Genesis 2:7, we read that God breathed " Life " into Adam at creation. Genesis 2:7 : 7   when[ a ] Yahweh God formed the man[ b ] of dust from the ground, and he blew into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. What's very interesting is that in the original text and language the Holy Spirit is refered to as "Ruach Hakkodesh", Ruach meaning Breath/Air/Spirit and Hakkodesh that translates to Holy/Sacred and is often used to refer to God's presence or very essence. (Exodus 29:43, Leviticus 16:33, 1 Kings 8:10-11) So God Breathed (His Holy Spirit) into Adam which gave Adam Life. This implies, that in an instant, God took Breath (the Holy Spirit) from Himself, breathed that into Adam, and Adam received Life. In John 14, it is recorded as Jesus being "the Life". So God Breathed Yeshua/Life as God's Holy Spirit into Adam at the time of creation, when God gave Adam Full Dominion and Purpose, but more importantly, Yeshua (Jesus) is pure Love (Eph 3:17 - Rooted in Love). These pieces of Scripture were written by different authors, thousands of years, and more than 10 000km/6 500miles apart, in an era where there was no email, no instant messages, or even landlines, even pens werent what we know them to be today. What is also interesting is that The Gospel of John is believed to be have been written in Ephasus which links to the very scriptures in Ephesians that describes the Armour of God. Considering this, it makes it clear that the Bible has to be the work of God Himself as the probability of this accuracy was in no way possible by man's own works. .....but wait, there's more. Jesus also said He is the Way , which is where it goes from just being pretty cool to being exceptional! The Way in the original greek is "hodos" translating to: road, quidance, path, route) and also relates to "anthrōpos" (human, man) so the Bible tells us that the Truth is Jesus and even touches on Him being "of mankind", thereby bringing relevance to God in human form. It further proclaims that Jesus is the Way to God and also our Guidance, to a Life with God, where we have access to the Armour of God. We confirm that Jesus gives us the "Life" that God breathed into mankind at the time of His original creation and purpose through the Holy Spirit. This "Life" & "Holy Spirit" then must the restore our original positioning and purpose, and all that God gave us to go along with it, because God is the Same, yesterday, today and tomorrow.... ......but the only way to this is through Jesus. So the very Truth that is contained and portrayed by the Belt of Truth, that holds our Armour together. is Jesus. This includes what He has restored, and given to us through the Salvation received by His Sacrifice on the Cross, and the renewing, and restorative power, of His ressurection from the Grave. So accepting, and gaining more understanding into the Truth of Jesus is the Belt that holds "The Armour of God" in place, and secures it. Isnt it amazing how Jesus is also what secures our Salvation because He died on a cross for all our sins, and He did so out of Love ....does this have something to do with the Helmet of Salvation? It most definately does, but you will have to wait for the next instalment, when we will delve into the meaning of the Helmet of Salvation. If you feel like you are facing battles in your life you want to stay connected as The Armour of God also extends beyond the spiritual that delves into the realm of inner strength and resilience, but also spans into the physical in so many ways, in Col 2:15, we receive confirmation that Jesus disarmed all principalities and powers to a level that he made a public embarasment of them. Drawing reference for the reader in Biblical times to physical protection, health, power, status, honor and even wealth and prosperity, because that is what Armour represented. Being fully clothed in Armour would have only been possible if the wearer was Prosperous because in many instances Armour would reflect the wealth, prosperity and even the value or rank of importance of the wearer. This also mean that part of The Truth is that Jesus went to the cross and was made poor, He took on all embarasment (Phil 2:8), sin, battles, attacks, punishment, every single curse, every illness, every struggle, and then He overcame it all to embarras every power & principality by overcoming death & the grave. The Truth is Jesus and the Love, Victory, Power, Wisdom, Wealth, Health, Joy, Blessings and exponential Grace that stretches into our entire ancestory bloodline and goes forward into all generations to come, from everlasting to everlasting, Jesus has overcome, and your breakthrough is right in front of you in the Spirit, you just need your Spiritual understanding to be ignited in Holy Spirit Fire and your faith needs to be established and it will manifest in the physical reality. Faith is simpler than we think, Faith is simply beliving what God says and promises is True...... I can sense some breakthroughs in the air. The Call to Action For those willing to embark on a transformative journey, embracing the Armour of God is more than a mere acceptance of the Truth - it is a commitment to living a life of understanding, purpose and faith, whilst following the Way Jesus teaches us to follow. The power that emanates from this Armour that we have transcends the physical realm, offering believers a shield against the uncertainties of life, and clarity on their place and purpose in this world. In the depths of spiritual battles, where doubts and fears lurk, the Armour of God stands as a beacon of hope and courage. It is a testament to the unwavering love and protection that God bestows upon those who seek Him and His Peace. Let us not underestimate the power that lies within the Armour of God and specifically the Belt of Truth that is Jesus and God's Word (Jesus is the living Word John 1:14 , ) . As believers, let us rise to the occasion, clothed in the Armour of God, and live a life that paves the way for a life filled with courage, strength, and unwavering faith. Recieve the protection, breakthoughs, blessings and Victories that the Truth brings. Until next time, Stay Blessed, Go in Peace, and Show Kindness, and remember that you may be the only Bible someone gets to read today. In Faith and Armour, The Armoured

  • WORD 4 TODAY: Called, MAT28

As a Believer in Jesus and a Child of the one and only True God, you are already called to spread the Gospel. When we put God as our first form of reference and our Priority, and our Greatest Joy, it will come Natural that we will Proclaim Him and lead people into His Loving Arms. So I challenge you, in every moment Put God first, the fringe benefit is suddenly You will realise and notice where He puts you First, because He already did, over two millennia ago. Jesus even explained the Principle indirectly but we miss that it still does relate; He who is seeking to be first will be last, Him that seeks to be last (Dying to Ourselves) will be first…. If we put anything above God, then we are putting ourselves first. Start with something small but most critical: When you open your eyes for a new day Thank God for the New Day, and the fact that you know that He will guide you and bless you throughout your day, tell Him how much you Love Him and Worship Him, and ask Him to make you sensitive for when you can stand and fulfill your calling for His Glory….. His Holy Spirit will do the Rest.

  • WORD 4 TODAY: ISAIAH 49:3 #GLORY

“And Jehovah said to me, “You are My servant, Israel, in whom I will show My glory.” We Serve and Worship The One and Only ALMIGHTY GOD. He is with us, and His Glory will shine through us. Nothing can come against you, because of Him that is in You

  • WORD 4 TODAY: ROMANS 10‬‬ #FAITH

…….. 4: “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.”……… Understand that Jesus already paid the full price as a living and perfect sacrifice, anything you believe you need to do to deserve what you have received, means you feel your own works would be more Powerful than Salvation by Grace and Love, through our Messiah dying on a cross for us, and raising from the Grave Victorious in Restoring us back to God, we are saved by Faith and Acceptance of Him. Romans 10 reiterates how we receive this, from Love and Grace alone, and as Gentiles we receive it to create a Jealousy and a Passion in God’s Nation and the rest of God’s People and Children that have not accepted Him, so they should want to know what we know, they will want what we have, to live as we do, in God’s Grace, Love, Protection, Provision, Health, Joy, Power, Blessings, and PRESENCE, even as an undeserving bride, He gives us all of this. That means you cannot be facing what you are facing, because there is nobody that desires facing a battle….. The enemy is lying to you to keep you distracted from the truth of who you are…. Stand up in Faith Child of God, and Know that He is God, He does not lie, He Loves You, and you are His Child. ‭‭ https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMhsvhLvx/

  • Yeshua (Jesus) Revealed: Our Strong, Wealthy, Powerfull and Influential Messiah

Welcome dear reader. In this Bible study we take a closer look into the perception of Jesus that we should have; this study provides guidance into Jesus’ significance as our Messiah, and into the physical appearance of Jesus' stature and build, that was more likely akin to an athlete or a muscular artisan (Picture the build of a Professional 100m Sprinter), than to the image we see in cathedrals, children’s Bibles, and even in the Actors that have played roles portraying Jesus on film. The Study even unlocks revelation into the view that the Government of the time had about Jesus and the confidence of some of His disciples, it takes a closer look at what Jesus went through to provide us the Salvation we now have, what it means, what we should know with certainty about Jesus from a spiritual perspective, and why most of us as believer still seem to face battles.   As a start, Let’s list some "hidden", but not so hidden, Biblical information that is often overlooked, but that sheds some light into Jesus’ physical stature, and then let’s apply some rational, logical, spiritual and supernatural reasoning to this information.   1.      Jesus has a Strong, Muscular build and is Physically Strong and Fit   1.1  Jesus was known as a tekton  in His own Hometown. (Matthew 2:11, Mark 6:3, Matthew 13:55, Matthew 6:2-3, Mark 11:15-19) In ancient Greek, “tekton” referred to an artisan, particularly in the fields of: ·         Woodworking (carpentry) ·         Stone working (masonry) ·         Metalworking (smithing) The term was not exclusively tied to carpentry, and its connotations extended to other crafts and construction-related activities. Jesus would have learnt this trade from a young age and continued in His trade until the Age of 30 (+/-), that’s 15-20 years of physical labour in an era where refining equipment and power-tools didn’t exist. 1.2  It is widely understood that in Biblical times people used to travel long distances to visit friends and relatives, and even to go to Temple, and even to escape persecution. ·         Egypt to Nazareth (As the Crow Flies: 500km +/-, By Route: 2800km +/- ·         Nazareth to Jerusalem (Roman Travel Route: 100km +/-)   2.      Jesus is Wealthy, and Prosperous at the level of a King, considered Holy as a Priest, and is declared as the Messiah before and after birth (Matthew 2:11)   2.1  Jesus received gold fit to honour a King above all other Kings at Birth ·         A talent of gold was +/- 34-36kg, the equivalent of $3-4 Million in currency value in 2024 ·         Although exact sizing of the treasure chests presented to Jesus isn’t available Biblically a reference can be drawn from cultures of the time like Egypt, and Israel, the capability of a camel is also to be considered, with various breeds being able to carry between 100-400kg, considering this Jesus could have easily received between $9-30 million in Gold in 2024 monetary value 2.2  Jesus received frankincense at Birth, which was a very valuable perfume associated with the temple, priesthood, and holiness and was considered more valuable than gold ·         Applying the calculation above at the exact same value, that’s another $9-30 million in Frankincense in 2024 monetary value 2.3  Jesus received Myrrh at Birth, a valuable fragrant resin/spice that was possibly more valuable than gold at the time and was used in burial, sacrifice and mourning. Myrrh was considered at equal value to Gold ·         Applying the calculation above at the exact same value, that’s another $9-30 million in Myrrh in 2024 monetary value 2.4  This would put Jesus’ estimate “Net Worth” at birth between $27-90 million in 2024 monetary value, and this does not consider his trade that was a very valuable trade, and also does not consider any of the additional gifts of honour Jesus received during His ministry. In summary and simple English, our Messiah was extremely wealthy and was in a prosperous trade and in ministry that would have received honorary gifts to care for a priest’s living. 3.      Jesus was considered a man of influence and power, with physical strength at the time of His arrest, when He was to be brought before Roman officials for judgement.   3.1  Jesus was considered and accused of being a threat to Roman Rule, a man would have had to be powerful to threaten Roman Rule in Biblical times (Matthew 26:59-60, Mark 14:55) 3.2  When the sent for Jesus’ arrest, it is documented as being a “cohors” of Soldiers, Jewish “police” and officials (John 18:3-12) ·       Various studies reveal that a Cohor would have consisted of 100-200 soldiers but a small cohert is mentioned in some scriptures and accounts which would have been 10-20 soldiers and then the accompanying Jewish “police” and officials ·       Consider that Jesus only took 3 disciples with Him to Pray: Peter, James, and John. (Mark 14:33, Luke 22:41) ·       Peter had enough courage and confidence in the strength of the 4 men in the Garden that night to pull his sword and cut of a soldier’s ear (John 18:10) 3.3  It is a well-known fact that Roman Soldiers were highly trained in combat and war; Spartan warriors/soldiers were the most renowned and well-trained Roman Soldiers, although it was not Spartan soldiers that arrested Jesus, the Soldiers that arrested Jesus were in the service of highly regarded Roman officials and would have been of similar calibre. Conclusion and revelation for the week: Our Messiah, Jesus (Yeshua), was a Physically strong, fit and healthy young man in his 30s. A man of exceptional wealth, strength, power and influence, who’s disciples were also trained and they clearly had access to weaponry.   Thank you for joining for this week’s Bible Study. In next week’s study we will look at what Jesus endured during His trial and crucifixion and what our Salvation truly contains, and provides to us as believers. Until next time, Stay Blessed, Go in Peace, and Show Kindness, remember, you may be the only Bible someone gets to read today. In Faith and Armour, The Armoured

  • Exploring Perceptions: How do you view Jesus?

Isn't it an intriguing question? Ever since our early years, we have been exposed to an image of Jesus... It's fascinating how the portrayal of Yeshua, the Lion of Judah, the Messiah, Jesus from the Children's Bibles we encountered initially, can vary based on the attributes and depictions we employ. However, most of us envision a quite common depiction: a man of average stature, clad in a white robe, with long hair, a beard, and gentle, compassionate eyes. Have you ever pondered the rationale behind the visual representation of Jesus? While we aim to introduce individuals to our Savior, we are unable to provide a physical description of Him, leading to the perpetuation of distorted perceptions that have persisted for decades, even centuries. Perhaps we should assess our current perception, against the detail we often miss in the Bible, and then compare the image we have, with the image we ought to have. When Jesus was born, He was presented with gifts suitable for the King of all Kings ( Matthew 2:11 ) . Jesus spent His early years accompanying His parents to the temple, and throughout His life, He was a diligent student of God's Word. He delved into the Tanakh and was well-versed in the Word of God, even sharing teachings and revelation with those that were considered "Teachers" ( Luke 2:46 ) . He worked as a "tekton" (Greek), a term that we translate as Carpenter but actually denotes an artisan or someone engaged in physically demanding labor, not simply Carpentry, but also Masonry and Metal work. The key point I want you to realise is that we should envision a young man in his early 30s, well-educated in Gods Word and it is very likely that he was well spoken, not just due to the anointing but also due to the practice of speaking to teachers, a man that probably abstained from alcohol and unhealthy practices which would align to his Nazarite Vow. A young man that is prosperous and financially capable of eating well and healthy, and that engagied in physical labor for 15 to 20 years (Hebrew boys entered "manhood" at +/-13). In that era, devoid of power tools, individuals had to work with cumbersome, manual tools and heavy materials. They had to handle raw materials in bulk, refine them for use, shape them, and craft or repair various items. Are you beginning to perceive a slightly different portrayal? Those of us who prioritize physical fitness understand that a young man leading a financially comfortable life, maintaining a balance between "education", social interactions, daily physical labor, and a healthy diet, would naturally possess a physique more akin to that of a World Class Sprinter/Athlete than the average male. In the next discussion, we will delve deeper into some of the overlooked characteristics of Jesus and His disciples. By developing a more accurate and rational and spiritual understanding of our Messiah, lays a more solid foundation for our Faith. This evolution of the image of Jesus can better portray Him in the Pysical and Spiritual sense. Until next time, Stay Blessed, Go in Peace, and Show Kindness, remember, you may be the only Bible someone gets to read today. In Faith and Armour, The Armoured Some Scriptures to Read: Mark 6:3 : In his hometown of Nazareth, Jesus is referred to as a carpenter (Greek: tekton) by the local residents. Matthew 13:55 : Jesus is described as the carpenter’s (Tekton) son, indicating his family’s profession. Matthew 6:2-3 : The crowd in Nazareth questions Jesus’ abilities, saying, “What deeds of power are being done by his hands! Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon, and are not his sisters here with us?” Mark 11:15-19 : Jesus cleanses the temple by overturning tables and driving out those selling and buying, demonstrating his authority and power.

  • Unveiling the Unseen: The Armour of God - the Helmet of Salvation (Series 3/8)

Imagine gearing up for battle, not with the basic swords and shields, but with armour of a different kind - the Armour of God. Each piece serves a unique purpose, equipping us to face the challenges of life with strength and resilience and walk in our purpose with confidence and faith. Today, we continue our discussion and investigate what hidden secrets are contained in the Bible when referring to the Helmet of Salvation. This is a crucial component of The Armour of God that protects us with unwavering certainty and in such an amazing way. In Part 1 & 2, we spoke about the cultural references that would have been drawn at the time, so I want you to keep that in mind as we continue our journey . Ephesians 6:13-20 (LEB): 13  Because of this, take up the full armor of God, in order that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand. 14  Stand therefore, girding your waist with truth, and putting on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and binding shoes under your feet with the preparation of the good news of peace, 16  in everything taking up the shield of faith, with which you are able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one, 17 and receive the helmet of salvation , and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, 18  with all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the Spirit........ The Helmet of Salvation - A Closer Look In the discussion surrounding the Belt of Truth we spoke about the fact that the Belt of Truth Secures our Armour and that this Truth is Jesus, who as we know also secures our Salvation. So there is already a link between the belt that keeps our Armour together and the Helmet of Salvation that surpasses the mere fact that it is part of a uniform Armour. When we delve into the original text translations, the true essence of the Helmet of Salvation begins to unfold. The word 'Helmet' originates from the Greek word perikephalaia , which signifies a head-covering that offers complete protection, but deep secrets are unveiled in the composition of the word, which consist of the word "peri", meaning around or completely encircled, and the word "kephale", meaning head/authority or in this context, the most required part of the body to maintain life, but also then links to the Spiritual Head/Authority we recieve back as part of our Salvation, this was afterall what God breathed into us as Life and His Holy Spirit. The cultural reference at the time emphasises physical safeguarding, because if you lost your head or injured your head severely, it resulted in the loss of life. It’s also the item that saves your life when under attack with weapons intended to cause the rapid end of life. The Helmet offered a wearer other benefits like protecting their eyes/sight and vision but also served as a warning of a warrior that would be difficult to incapacitate with a vital blow to the head. In the realm of spiritual significance, the Helmet symbolises protection because of the salvation we receive; a reminder that we are protected, redeemed, and saved by the Grace of God through the Love of Jesus. It serves as a reminder that no matter the trials or attacks we face, our ultimate victory is secured because we have our head, our minds, and our thoughts, protected by something that completely encircles our life/head in protection. It makes it even more significant that Jesus is refered to as “the Life” ( John 14:6 ), and that the Bible teaches us that as a man thinks so is he ( Proverbs 23:7 ). The Meaning of Salvation Let's pause for a moment to ponder the meaning of 'Salvation.' In the original text, the term 'Salvation' is derived from the Greek word "soteria". This word encapsulates the concept of being saved, delivered, and protected. It encompasses protection against attacks, rescue from danger, healing from wounds, and preservation from harm. When we equip the Helmet of Salvation, we are covering our minds/thoughts with the assurance that we are eternally saved by the sacrificial love of Yeshua. How did I get to Jesus from that? Well, the Origins of the Word "Soteria" is the Word "Sotir" which means... wait for it... The Saviour or One that Saves. I know, how profound! Embracing Certainty in Uncertain Times In a world filled with uncertainties and challenges, the Helmet of Salvation offers us unwavering certainty. It shields our thoughts from doubt, fear, and insecurity, enabling us to stand firm in our beliefs and convictions. When we wear this Helmet, we walk in the knowledge that we are cherished and protected by God through the salvation received by Jesus, who took all our sins upon Himself (God as a Man, The Son of God). We are protected by The Helmet of Salvation against any attacks or battles that may rage towards and around us. We are empowered to face each day with courage and hope. It acts as a beacon of light in the darkness, guiding our steps and illuminating the path of righteousness. Let us embrace the profound significance of The Armour of God, and allow it to infuse our lives with strength and purpose. Conclusion: Harnessing the Power of Salvation & the Truth As we conclude our exploration of the Helmet of Salvation, let us remember the transformative power it holds, and its link to the Belt of Truth; The Belt of Truth of Jesus as our Messiah, and the restoration of Unity with God, and Unity with God's Full Grace, Love, Protection, Blessings and Purpose, that is Fully Restored. The Helmet of Salvation that we received from Jesus, making this Unity possible by taking every sin, battle, struggle, curse, stronghold, and attack onto Himself to be the final sacrifice of forgiveness and our Salvation. The Helmet of Salvation completely surrounds our Life that is restored through Jesus as protection, the Life that God Breathed into us at the Begining of creation. By embracing the certainty of our salvation and the protection it offers, we can navigate life's challenges with confidence and grace, by accepting the truth together with this we can step into our Purpose and God's Perfect Will for our lives. Just as a physical helmet shields the head in battle, the Helmet of Salvation safeguards our minds and hearts in the spiritual warfare we face each day. As you go through life, wear the Armour of God with confidence and enthusiasm, knowing that you are equipped for victory through the grace of our Lord and Messiah. Let the Helmet of Salvation be a constant reminder of God's unwavering love, eternal forgiveness and protection of your very life. The Life that Jesus gives you is Life in God's abundance; Jeremiah 29:11-13 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “ plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me , and I will listen to you . 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Now march forward as warriors of faith, clad in the Armour of God, empowered by the unshakable truth of Salvation. Embrace the assurance, walk in confidence, and stand firm in the knowledge that you are a beloved child of the one and only Living God, protected and cherished beyond measure. Until next time, Stay Blessed, Go in Peace, and Show Kindness, and remember that you may be the only Bible someone gets to read today. In Faith and Armour, The Armoured

  • Unveiling the Unseen: The Armour of God - Introduction (Series 1/8)

In the realm of spiritual warfare, there is a powerful concept that has intrigued believers throughout history - The Armour of God. We all know that armour protects the one that wears it, but The Armour of God is far more significant and far greater than just simple protection, and its meaning is far deeper and more powerful than what most of us realise. The Bible teaches us that even though we may face things in our daily lives, our battle is not against flesh and blood but against a spiritual enemy (Eph 6:12) , and that as believers, we walk in the Spirit, meaning that this Spiritual Armour and its power, protection, blessing, and even purpose should be present in our physical lives. Thank you for joining me on this journey into unveiling "The Armour of God"... Ephesians 6:13-20 (LEB): 13  Because of this, take up the full armour of God, in order that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand. 14  Stand therefore, girding your waist with truth, and putting on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and binding shoes under your feet with the preparation of the good news of peace, 16  in everything taking up the shield of faith, with which you are able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one, 17  and receive the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, 18  with all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the Spirit........ The Significance of The Armour of God When the Scriptures were written, we need to keep in mind that they were written for the people of that time to read, understand, and interpret to gain understanding. The Scriptures often contained parables or comparisons that referenced social, professional, circumstantial, situational, or cultural knowledge and understanding. Wow, that's a mouthful...to simplify, we should always be asking ourselves how the message, knowledge and scripture would have been read and interpreted by the people of the specific time in history, and then also interpret it and apply it in relation to our current age. In biblical times and even in today's day and age, armour represents strength, defence, protection, weaponry, power, wealth, status, rank, and level of training/skill, and even which "team" the wearer is on. It provides the wearer with confidence, identification, a sense of belonging, and safety/protection in battle. The imagery of armour is used to convey the idea of being equipped for battle, but the significance is so much deeper. The reference drawn would be from the armour of the Roman Legionnaires, Battle Heroes, Kings, and Gladiators. Each element of the Armour served a unique purpose but was in many cases multi-purpose/use items. Now we have a stronger point of reference/perspective that we need to keep in mind while reading the scriptures. Seeing as we as believers walk in the Spirit, The Armour of God symbolises the spiritual defences, blessings, tools/weapons, and many other very deep and powerful things that we have over our lives and in our "arsenal" as believers. In this series, we will focus on each component of the Armour and touch briefly on some of the meanings this holds... ...yes, only some of it, because the mysteries and secrets locked up in God's Word are far deeper than we can fathom in a single study of a couple of verses. It is greatly encouraged that you do additional studies into any and all knowledge and understanding that is received from any and all sources; God will unlock unique revelation to each one of His children that will help them walk in His Perfect Will for their lives. (A Directory of Bible Schools and Study resources is Coming Soon) Lets get back to it,.... ....so in the Spirit, "The Armour of God" aids us in strengthening our efficacy and faith to stand firm against adversities and be victorious in battle but also serves as identification and warning for enemies to proceed with caution if considering an attack. As we equip our spiritual armour, we are reminded of the underlying message - to remain steadfast, courageous, and unwavering in the face of challenges and embrace the Victory we have already received. Understanding the components of the Armour of YHWH (God) empowers those seeking guidance, protection, stability, strength, comfort, peace, and wisdom in their daily challenges but also their everyday lives. When gaining understanding into The Armour of God, there is a realisation of Salvation, Grace, Blessings, Power, Strength, Protection & Purpose ; which is life-changing. The difficult part is that we don't always know how to put the Armour on, or understand what it means, and then we get right back to what "I need to do", sadly, we have then missed the most important step in the process of becoming clothed in The Armour of God. This is because we have already missed the key component in The Armour of God, The Belt of Truth. The Call to Action For those willing to embark on a transformative journey, embracing and being clothed and equiped in The Armour of God is a mind renewing journey that unlocks our understanding of our great purpose in this world. Join us next time as we start focusing on the various components of The Armour of God, starting with the Belt of Truth. Until next time, Stay Blessed, Go in Peace, and Show Kindness, and most importantly, remember that you may be the only Bible someone gets to read today. In Faith and Armour, The Armoured

  • Unveiling the Word: God's Blessings Empower You to Reshape the World

Imagine a world where every act of kindness echoes endlessly, radiating positivity and transforming lives around us. As givers, we have the extraordinary privilege to embody this vision, to be the vessels through which divine blessings flow to bring hope, healing, and restoration to those in need. This profound calling to bless others does not emerge from an empty well but is deeply rooted in the very essence of our faith. Let's delve into the heart of this sacred mission: how God's blessings empower Christians to reshape the world, exploring the ancient languages of Hebrew and Greek that unveil the true power of blessing. The Source, The Call & Transformative Power of Blessings At the core of our belief lies the concept that God blesses us so we can, in turn, bless others. This reciprocity is beautifully encapsulated in the Bible through the Hebrew word בָּרַךְ (barak) , meaning 'to bless.' When God bestows His blessings upon us, it is not for our exclusive benefit but with the intention that these blessings will flow through us to touch the lives of those around us. In the Greek language, the word for blessing is εὐλογέω (eulogeo) , stemming from the roots eu- (good) and logos (word). This profound etymology reveals that when we bless others, we are speaking forth goodness into their lives, catalyzing transformation and renewal. Every act of giving becomes a divine proclamation of hope, echoing across time and space. As givers, we are entrusted with a sacred mission – to be channels of God’s blessings in a world marred by brokenness and despair. The divine directive to bless others is not a mere suggestion but a powerful commandment that infuses our generosity with purpose and meaning. Through our actions and words, we have the ability to uplift the downtrodden, heal the broken-hearted, and bring light into the darkest corners of society. The Ripple Effect of Blessing & Walking in Blessing One of the most astounding aspects of being a giver is witnessing the ripple effect of our blessings. Just as a stone creates expanding waves when cast into a still pond, our acts of kindness and generosity have far-reaching impacts that we may never fully comprehend. By embracing our role as conduits of blessing, we participate in a cosmic symphony of love and compassion that reverberates through the very fabric of reality. As we embark on this journey of blessing others, let us remember that we are following in the footsteps of the greatest Giver of all – our Heavenly Father. It is through His boundless love and generosity that we have been equipped to bless others, to extend a hand of mercy to the broken, and to sow seeds of hope in barren hearts. In every act of kindness, we reflect the image of our Creator and draw closer to the essence of our own humanity. Conclusion Every individual is a cherished creation in the intricate tapestry of God's universe. Embrace the transformative power of blessings and let kindness and generosity guide our collective journey. Together, we hold the potential to touch lives and spread an influence that surpasses earthly understanding. Let us remain steadfast in our commitment to shower others with blessings, recognizing that in every act of love and compassion, we reflect the profound truth that we are blessed to be a blessing. Embrace this sacred calling, working towards a world where love triumphs and the echoes of divine blessings resonate eternally. As givers, we hold within us the power to rewrite the narrative of our world, infusing every moment with the language of blessing and the music of generosity. Let us embrace this noble mandate with confidence and courage, for in doing so, we not only bless others but pave the way for a brighter, more compassionate future for all. Remember, we are blessed to be a blessing – so go forth and let your light shine, illuminating the world with the transformative power of God's love.
